patient: whatever you think
me: ok ill just put it in a bag
patient: good because you should be doing something other than answer phones


Ooo i could have told this mother fucker off but i think i was too shocked at his comment. excuse me, but i have a COLLEGE degree from mother effin BERKELEY so please, don't insult my intelligence. that comment bugged me the whole day and still does, I HATE RUDE UNGRATEFUL PEOPLE. what i should have done was ripped up the xray script i wrote for him...asshole.

what day is it?

wasn't it just sherlyn's birthday last week and now we're already at the end of the month?? and thanksgiving just passed?! time is crazy flying right by me.

last weekend madel and i had a little road trip to the OC...stayed with mari at her 5 diamond hotel and enjoyed some overpriced room service. $4.50 for one egg plus $4 delivery fee and 18% gratuity...ridiculous but i guess thats how the high rollers roll. we were JUST fine with our mcdonalds :)

let me tell you though, work does a body no good. we were in and out of the bars and home by 1am?? hahaha...damn us and our rusty party skills. good times nonetheless...with the "tick tickin me off" and homeboy with bad breath all UP in my face. fyi if youre tryin to holler, pop a mint your mouth bc i'm not shy, just avoiding the hot air!

next trip? vacay in the bay! get to hang with bugs and my bitches....canNot wait because shit, my life is pretty much boring in sd.

until then...i have an app due, some ds to play, and my nasty rashy lips to focus on. it's gotta be the MAC lipgloss/lipliner that caused it :( 30 bucks down the drain...

money makes the world go round

i swear i have no idea where my money goes. i hardly buy anything for myself and my empty closet shows for it. kinda sucks...which is why im gonna buy myself a nintendo ds lite because theyre cute and fun to play with (since a puppy is out of the question). but why must they be soo expensive??

then again the adult in me says "NO" bc the holidays are coming, mini vacation weekends are coming, and i still have bills, apps, plus my starbucks addiction to cater to.

work is getting harder because theyre putting so much more responsibility on me every dang week. i thought i signed up to be a "receptionist"? nowadays im the receptionist/clinic coordinator for SEVEN effin clinics/custodian of medical records/MA assistant/everyone else bitch. im in my third month which means my 90 day trial period is almost over...yaay for finally getting my benefits, paid holidays and hopefully a much deserved raise.

thankful

1. my family is safe
2. our home is in one piece (despite the 3 days of evacuation)
3. i survived the GREs
4. one application down...
5. refreshing weekend with mike
6. the best family, cousins, aunties, uncles, and friends

i've never really "known" anyone who passed away..but i guess this time is different. we partied together, shared the same room on the cruise, kicked it here and there...who would have known her life would be cut short, especially on her birthday. she just graduated berkeley and had her whole life ahead of her, it just makes me sad. rest in peace kim

please friends, don't drink and drive...it's just not worth it.
